Prepare to enter the wild and wooly world of an adult with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism characterized by intellignce, quirks, social difficulties and downright strange and oddish behaviours.

People with Aspergers generally are high functioning in everyday life but have great difficulty connecting with others due to the inability to read faces, body language and subtle verbal clues. They also tend to take words literally and have a hard time multi-tasking.

Oversensitivity to touch (clothing has to be soft and often the tags removed), light (do not leave home without the sunglasses), sound (loud noises and noisey places are avoided), taste (many Aspies have quite a limited diet and are frequently very picky eaters) and smells makes the everyday existence more of a challenge.

Fasten your seatbelts and come on in...

Art is Life

The only time I feel at ease, complete, and like I know exactly what I'm doing, is when I'm creating. It makes me real. It washes away the banal, mundane drudgery of an ordinary existence.
Art is my salvation and greatest joy. And those words aren't strong or accurate enough, but they will do for know.

Collecting Monopoly Tokens

There are very few things that make me happy. This is my favorite, collecting inexpensive Monopoly games for $2 or less, from second hand stores and collecting the tokens.
Here is a semi-accurate representation of what I've found around the house today. There are more, just need to locate.
These are photos of my "Regulars". I also have "Specials" which are goldish, very old or from one of the specialty sets.
Currently, in this photo I have:
 5 money bags
18 dogs
17 top hats
19 retired irons
20 wheelbarrows
19 cars
21 thimbles
21 shoes
14 cannons
9 battleships
18 horse and riders
