Prepare to enter the wild and wooly world of an adult with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism characterized by intellignce, quirks, social difficulties and downright strange and oddish behaviours.

People with Aspergers generally are high functioning in everyday life but have great difficulty connecting with others due to the inability to read faces, body language and subtle verbal clues. They also tend to take words literally and have a hard time multi-tasking.

Oversensitivity to touch (clothing has to be soft and often the tags removed), light (do not leave home without the sunglasses), sound (loud noises and noisey places are avoided), taste (many Aspies have quite a limited diet and are frequently very picky eaters) and smells makes the everyday existence more of a challenge.

Fasten your seatbelts and come on in...

today

Searching for peace and purpose via prayer and poetry. Read both today. Love the light brigade and Barnabe Googe especially the little fish, bait and hook.
Enjoyed watching the first season of Asimov's Foundation. Would like to read the books.
Grocstore. Baked a chicken and made chicken rice soup, chicken individuated and froze for samiches, and the remainder froze for puppy food to be cooked in the morrow.
Broken vac. Must go to home depot for our once every four year, 60 dollar vacuum cleaner.
Need mailing paper and bub wrap from walm soon.
Started reading The Last of the Mohicans but had to stop cause I was reading in bed and had no map with which to reference and keep track of the characters.
Walked at the Wetlands which are barely wet. Wonder, hope, we get more rain before the dry hot.
In the morrow, to the post office, maybe to the osu thrift as haven't been there in three months or more as it's sparingly open.
Funds are back up, okay, spend little or wise.
Can afford a coffee.
Yester bought a larger coffee and saved half for today.
Spending with more awareness. Positive.
A good day.
